As we look back over January, we want to thank God for the practical and encouraging ways He has been at work at the Hughenden Centre.

On Saturday 10 January, we gathered at the Hughenden Centre for a simple afternoon of welcome, worship and prayer. The purpose was twofold: to help people get to know one another, and to put God at the very centre of Weston Ark’s life and future.

As we move through December and towards Christmas, we have been encouraged by the steady and practical ways God has been strengthening the work at the Hughenden Centre.

A second team from the King’s Trust programme at Weston College has spent three days at the Hughenden Centre, building on the partnership that began with their earlier work in the Foodbank storeroom.

Celebrating God’s provision of a £600 Asda Foundation Better Together grant to help equip the Ark Café as a warm, welcoming space at the Hughenden Centre.

As we look back over October and into November, we are encouraged by the many quiet but significant ways God has been at work at the Hughenden Centre.

A group of learners from Weston College, partnering with the King's Trust, has completed a three-day painting project at the Hughenden Foodbank Store.

Work is now underway at the Hughenden Centre to refresh the main hall and create a doorway from the kitchen to the counter to enable easier access for servers.

We’re excited to share a small but meaningful update: the Hughenden Centre now has two brand-new signs!

These concept designs show our planned refurbishment to make the building more welcoming, practical and accessible for community use. The designs were created by Diana Thomas, Trustee and designer. Delivery will be phased as funding allows and once technical details are confirmed.

Weston Ark is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Luft as the new Centre Manager for the Hughenden Centre, starting in June 2025.

Weston Ark purchased the Hughenden Centre from Enjoy Church on 30th April 2025.
